Nicole Kempf was born in Hays, Kansas, and grew up in a military family. She graduated from Saint Mary’s College in Indiana in 2000 and started her teaching career. Nicole has taught school at various levels for 8 years.  She married her husband, Justin, in 2005 and they have 6 children. While her oldest children were little, she discovered Catechesis of the Good Shepherd and fell in love with the beauty of it all.  Nicole trained to become a catechist and has been involved with Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) for 8 years. She graduated in July 2023 from the Mary’s Catholic Montessori Training Center in Kansas. It is the only Catholic Montessori training center in the United States and she is blessed to have been trained there. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, camping, hiking, canoeing, and fly fishing.
