Lisa Sherwin is excited to be joining St. Gabriel Classical Academy as the new 1^st Grade Teacher!  She graduated from University of Dayton with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and then Masters of Science in Elementary Education 2 years later.  After teaching 7/8^th grade Math in Ohio for a year, she began her life as an Air Force wife moving throughout the country and overseas.  She continued to use her education throughout the years as a Mother, Substitute Teacher, Coordinator of Religious Education, and Mathnasium Instructor.  Lisa and her husband hail from the panhandle of Florida, and are living in Colorado Springs for the year as he is a visiting professor at the Air Force Academy, bringing them closer to their 2 youngest who are cadets at the Academy.  In her spare time Lisa enjoys playing tennis and pickleball, cooking, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family of 5 children and 2 grandchildren.
