Angelica Abillar is excited to be joining St. Gabriel Classical Academy! She graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a Bachelor of Arts in History, International Affairs, and Asian Studies with a Chinese minor. She received her Elementary Licensure through UCCS’ post-baccalaureate program and has completed additional graduate-level coursework in education. Originally from Litteton, CO, she moved to Colorado Springs in 2019 after marrying her husband David. She is delighted to be in kindergarten this year. Her heart belongs in kindergarten and she loves teaching children as they start out their journey of being life-long learners and followers of Christ! 

Aside from teaching, she loves to paint and garden. She and her husband work hard in renovating their house and work almost every weekend on one of their many projects. They’re also big foodies and love trying new cuisines and dishes. Mrs. Abillar can’t wait to meet her students and is honored to be part of the St. Gabriel community!
