2. Hometown & Education: Born and raised in Colorado Springs until my family moved to Calhan Colorado for 8th-grade year. Graduated in 1990 in a class of 23 students. Attended the Colorado School of Mines for several years, then changed course and joined the military. After four years of service in the Army, returned home to work in the custom home design field. Developing a renewed faith, I began exploring how to best serve God. Through the support of priests and the Church, I attended the St. Paul Seminary School of Divinity in Minnesota. Having completed a Liberal Arts degree and a Masters of Divinity from the University of St. Thomas, I was ordained in 2008 by Bishop Michael Sheridan.
3. Greatest part of my job: My greatest joy as a priest is to watch faith come alive in the hearts of those entrusted to me as a Pastor. It is the greatest reward to know that your guidance has helped bring others closer to Christ.
4. Favorite part of being Catholic: The best part of being Catholic is living in hope, and anticipating eternal life.
5. Hobbies: I am a big fan of getting out on my Harley Davidson when the weather is good. I like listening to music on record players. And though I’m not very far along – I’m trying to learn to play the ukulele.
6. Favorite food: A Margarita Pizza, made in Italy!
7. Fun Fact: Most people are surprised to hear that I was a decent accordion player at one time.
