Christy Phillips is excited to join St. Gabriel Classical Academy as the new third grade teacher. Christy graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in psychology.  She was alternatively licensed to teach and is working in her 19th year of educating students.  Her experience ranges from kindergarten through 8th grade in public, private, and charter school settings. She loves encouraging life-long learning and is passionate about the classical education model.  Christy moved to COS six years ago with her husband and three children, two of whom attend St. Mary’s High School.  When not at school, you may find her hanging out with her family and friends, attending a high school sporting event, working in her garden, hiking, reading, or delving into a craft.
