St. Gabriel Classical Academy Preschool shares a similar mission to our K-8 school which is to develop children not only for academic excellence but to form children as joyful and virtuous disciples of Christ. 

 Our guiding philosophy is that preschool serves as preparation to advance directly into our wonderful kindergarten program.  While not required, we do pray that the children love and respond well to being in the SGCA family and that they grow with us and with their friends. We are unique in that most of our preschoolers and their families do choose to advance directly into our kindergarten for which they are very well prepared. 

 SGCA preschool uses the Montessori method of teaching which is child-centered, incorporates play-based classrooms designed to develop the whole child through prayer, problem solving, socialization, imaginary play, as well as emergent reading and writing. The program also features enrichment classes in both music, art, and physical education. Our unique program blends the traditional play-based classroom with our faith-based Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program.
