The world has decided that truth, goodness and beauty are relative. At St. Gabriel Classical Academy we maintain that there is a standard for truth, goodness and beauty, and that can be found in the Logos - in the Word and in the Word made flesh, Jesus Christ. God is true, God is good, God is beautiful - God, as the creator, defines these things, and the more we know Him, the more we experience and understand these transcendental realities.
It is the thing we most want our students to know and love, and to live their lives by, and to measure everything by as they leave St. Gabriel Classical Academy - to continue the life long pursuit of things true, good, and beautiful.
At St. Gabriel Classical Academy, we want our students not only to learn between right and wrong, but learn to love what is right and hate what is wrong - so that decisions are made from the heart, not simply by compulsion. We recognize that God has revealed to us the way to live in accordance to His will, which directs our lives.
Goodness as a method:
We know beauty, because God is beautiful and all of His creation resounds in His glory and beauty. It takes its proper place alongside the true and the good. We want your child not only to be able to recognize beauty but also come to love the beautiful wherever he or she encounters it, whether in science, mathematics, art or poetry. Our students also experience what it means to create beauty themselves and to share it with others through musical performances, sacred art, service projects, and liturgical celebrations.
